We’re dedicated to not only providing top-quality food and dependable service, but partnering with customers to help kids learn about proper nutrition! By providing meals and snacks that are made from scratch and follow Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) guidelines, Delicious helps kids develop healthy eating habits that will last them a lifetime. We offer field trips to our facility where children can tour the kitchen, learn how food is prepared, color their own chef hat, and have a healthy snack with some nutrition talk!
We send a quarterly newsletter to each of our educators, students and parents. In addition to the menu selections and substitution options, it’s filled with nutritional information and guidance prepared by our registered dietitian. Our in house Registered Dietitian is a resource to clients and parents to field any allergy or dietary questions on our menus. The RD can also visit client sites to provide a fun nutrition education presentation.
